[LISTEN] Spring 2016 Flop Post-Mortem

Now that the 2015-2016 Broadway season has officially concluded, Broadway Buddies looks back on some of the more notable “flops” of the past few months, including “American Psycho,” which shuttered on June 5, “Bright Star,” which will be closing on June 26, and Cirque du Soleil’s “Paramour,” which doesn’t meet the financial definition of a flop, but certainly does from a creative perspective.  Did “American Psycho” get a bad wrap from critiques and their hatchet-job reviews? Did “Bright Star” pick the wrong song to perform at the Tony Awards?  Does Cirque belong on Broadway or should it stick to the Las Vegas? Listen now to find out!

Broadway Buddies stars: David Buchanan, a contributing writer for GoldDerby.com; John Bonazzo, a staff writer for the New York Observer; and James Demetriades, a Quinnipiac University School of Law student and theatre junkie.
